A lil taste from the halfbreed

Production for the HF ep is coming along great, I got a chance to catch i few beats from Roclee, Lavish, Brandun Deshay, Chuck Wun, OMG Deandrea, and myself. In the mean time im waiting on some promises from Taylor Moore beats and masterminds. It would be coo if i could get a col lab going with tyler the creator, But i havin spoke to him since i meant him. Its safe to say that music production for me is back up and running, oh yea one thing about the semester, i ended up passing all 10 of my classes. Plugged into the wall and ready to burn energy. Thanks to Jeff aka J-Blane the studio is now runnin pro tools and up to date reason, nig even dropped off a 49 midi keyboard. GREATNESS, I've already started back up work on the HalfBreed Ep and workin on finishin IT SOON. Thanks for the wait folks and be ready, we about to takedown. The way I've Been thinkin lately is stressful. I'm always tired now adays, i never get sleep, im behide in school and on my recordings. To be completely honest with yall, I feel like an idiot. All the stress that has been place upon me has been placed upon by myself. It is the end of the semester and it has been the worst semester i have ever had and I believe that it is very possible that i may fail three classes out of the 9 classes I'm taking up at cal state Dominguez and my juries are coming up (cal state Dominguez and with anybody whose a music Ed major has to do something called a jury, which is when you are to play a song that test your playing skills, if you don't do so great in your juries its very possible that you may be place out of the music program) and i don't know my complete music for it. If that don't go well then i don't know what will happen, but i feel i can great threw that.

Not only that but, my license is suspended cuz of a missed court day. omgosh i can't stand these court days and I got more court dates coming. Matter of fact i have one coming up this Friday like DAMN! and i got a voice class that is very important to show up to this Friday. Also money is looking very tight. I feel the way i have been living this semester has been completely unresponesible.

I spent most of this semester thinking about what people thought about me. Personally it was stupid thinking so much about that. Right now I'm not thinking about anything but myself , not in a selfish way, for my own good health. This last pass semester I've been living my life so blind. It didn't take but one night to wake up. And who did i wake up to, an idiot who was talking over my life for the time i was sleep. I'm finish of bullsh*tin. So heres what im gonna do for the time being.

First of all i would like to apologies too my co workers in saying this but, I'm going to have to cut my studio time. I will be able to help yall out but not for very much time. Fridays ain't looking like its going to be apart of hip hop weekend anymore. It mostly looking like Saturday nights pulling all nighters. As far the HalfBreed EP, i hate to say this, I'm going to have to stop production on it for the time being. i would like to apologies to my supporters. Also say Sorry to the good old team, J-blane, Lavish, Chris, Chuck Wun, and RocLee. As for my features i hope you stay in there name. This studio cut will only last 2 weeks. So don't panic, i gotta do this for me. And again i am truly sorry.

Me: Well hip hop is a form of music. So any kind of instrument can be used for hip hop. ANY KIND literally. Its to the point to where any thing that can possibly make a noise can be used.

MiaMi: If you were to name the top five most influencial hip hop artsists who?

Me: Lately i haven't really found any influencial artsists in todays hip hop becuase i feel as if every new artist that comes out is a peer. By saying that im not saying that im better or as good, im sayin their setting the bar for me and imma reach it. And in hip hop there are many different titles used and different things to do. There are the producers, and the writers, and the performers. So as far as whose influecncial to me i would name, Ronald Jenkeez (keyboard player/producer), J Dilla (Producer/Writer), Kanye West, (producer/Writer) Drake, (Singer/Writer), And Just Blaze, (Producer). You dont nessisarilly have to be a rapper to be a hip hop artist.

I was amazed at this dude's work, made me wanna hop on the keys and fl%#k around. This dude already has an album out as well, his beats make me think how come nobody's found this guys to produce a track for them. look'em up on myspace, it worth a listin.

M-Audio ProKeys Sono 88 (producers only)

Couple of days ago i woke up late and ended up getting to my music thoery class all late (as if im doing good in that class anyway). Walking up the stairs i run into one my home boys. He just didnt feel like going to music class so He asked me if i wanted to go to sam ash with'em too trade his sax for a better one. Shit you know i went to sam ass fast. Anyway when i got there i was checkin out some new keyboard midi controlers and i ran into the M audio pro keystation 88. Shit is pretty hard but it was something i'd just get and not be to off the wall about it like vans. One of the workers saw me glazen at it and he asked if i was interested, i told him naw and asked if they had any keyboard that works as a midi and audio interface like the m audio ozone. He was like naw but the keyboard your looking at now is coming out with a new series of an all in one combo. once i heard that i was wtf when is it comin out is it 88 keys, dude told me its 88 keys and he doesn't know when its coming out he just saw it at the NAMM show. I checked it out on M audio's web site and it seem better then i thought. Check the video for the spec.

So i finally moved up out of my grandma's house. Its a great feeling but wack seeing money go. the good thing about it is I got some what of a realistic studio or should i say just a better one and i am able to stay up makin beats and recording tracks all i want haha. Real work begins now.
